What we stand for

Our counsellors are all well trained, they are all members of professional ethical bodies. As such they are committed to providing a sound ethical service,

The relationship you have with your therapist is often said to be the therapy, for this reason confidentiality is very important us, with very few exceptions.

Our therapists are constantly developing professionally to stay up to date and to be able to offer their clients the best possible therapy.

Trevor (Mbacp) is our senior councellor here at Westoaks. He has worked for many years in mental health care and in a variety of settings, including with adults and children. Trevor’s main modality is person centred counselling, but he is able to draw from other modalities to meet a specific need of a client.
Faith works behind the scenes here at Westoaks, providing us with that all important admin support. Faith has many year experience managing the provision of mental health care and support in a variety of settings, e.g. in hospitals, residential, clinics and in the clients own home.
